Sexual Orientation: He ... doesn't care. If he's interested, he's interested.
Personality (you don't need a novel!): Serious and calculating, Zexion is methodical in his actions and often has a deliberate reason for what he's doing. With a title like the Cloaked Schemer in Organization XIII, it comes as no surprise that Zexion is very intelligent and can be deceptive (or just downright secretive) of his true intentions. Much like his fellow Nobodies that were once apprentices to Ansem the Wise, Zexion has a scholarly side and can commit himself to research when he is interested. He is perfectly capable of using his magic and illusions for offensive purposes, but personal preference has him staying away from that aspect of being an Organization XIII member.
For the most part, he isnot emo distant and observant of his surroundings. He is much more patient than he was as Ienzo, but he has no problem being blunt and trite straightforward with people that annoy him.
